Building the country’s next generation of exploration professionals is the firm’s founding purpose — not a footnote.

Why GeoMine

Real programmes, from your first season

We are a small, permanently based team. That means less time observing and more time on the outcrop, at the rig and in the data.

Our people work across the full lifecycle — mapping one quarter, supervising a drill programme the next, contributing to a Competent Person report after that. It is the fastest way we know to build a geoscientist who can carry a project.

01

Field time that counts

Live client programmes across Namibia's principal mineral belts, not simulated exercises or archive work.

02

Standards you can take anywhere

JORC, SAMREC and NI 43-101 discipline applied from your first logged metre. Skills that travel to any jurisdiction.

03

Mentorship, not supervision

Senior geoscientists review your work with you. Professional registration support is part of the job, not a personal project.

Graduates & students

Placements for Namibian geoscience graduates

Each field season we take on graduate geologists and student field assistants, based out of Windhoek and Swakopmund with rotation onto live programmes.

Placements cover mapping and sampling, core logging to house standard, QA/QC insertion, and data capture into project databases — supervised, reviewed, and written up as a reference you can use.

Applications open ahead of each season. Send a one-page CV and a short note on the ground you want to work on.

How to apply

Three things to send us

01

A short CV

Two pages at most. Field experience, software, registration status and driver's licence class.

02

The ground you know

A paragraph on a project, belt or commodity you understand well — and what you learned there.

03

Availability

When you could start, and whether you are available for rotation into remote field camps.
